Enjoying Prestwick Country Club

Corporate Outings are those that are planned for a specific date and have a signed contract in place. We post these outings on the Prestwick Web site as soon as the contract is signed.

Member Outings are far less formalized and sometimes are organized in 24 hours or less. We try to post these outings on the Web site but sometimes we simply don't know about them in advance. If a member calls and ask for tee times and our tee sheet is open, we are going to reserve those tee times for that member and their guest. Every Prestwick member has the privilege of calling and reserving tee times and is encouraged to do so.

Dress Code:  Prestwick Country Club enforces a year round dress code for all golfers.  Appropriate golf attire is required on the practice facilities and the golf course at all times.  Denim or blue jean like material, short shorts, halter or tank tops, and T-shirts are not considered proper golf attire.  Save yourself from being embarrassed, let you're invited guests know what the golf dress code is before they arrive.

Hole Position Markers:  Each day, when the superintendent sets the cups he positions a 4"x4" post near the 150 yard markers on par 4 and par 5 holes and at the tee box on par 3 holes. The color of the band (red, white or blue) near the top of these posts provide players with an indication of the hole position on the green.  Posts with a red band indicate the hole is located forward on the green.   Posts with a white band indicate the hole is located in the middle of the green.   Posts with a blue band indicate the hole is located toward the back of the green.
